About us Owner/Driver: Darren Bates Darren Bates has 24 years experience as a professional driver and 8 years experience managing his own Equestrian business with his wife Angela. That's exactly why Darren has decided to combine his professional skills into Purple Sage Coach. Angela has been an Equestrian instructor for 2 years teaching youth basic Horsemanship skills. The Bates are proud of their breeding program at Purple Sage Paints & are thrilled about their latest additions of babies in 2004 including Chippewa Storm and Kristens Dancer, two beautiful "Palomino" babies. Joshua Bates, Darren and Angela's son, is quite a horseman and is currently enrolled to attend Pat Parellis Level 1 & Beginning Level 2 Program. The family is also proud to be learning the value of Clicker Training by Alexandra Kurland. Their continuing interests as a family are to apply natural Horsemanship skills and to employ no force training for our special equine friends. Since Purple Sage Coach is a family run business they'll treat your horses as they do their own....like family.
